This is one of the original Albuquerque Air Branch Patches.åÊ The light blue color represents turquoise, which is prevalent throughout New Mexico.åÊ The Albuquerque Air Branch originally had Blackhawks and Citations to intercept the north bound narcotics smugglers, flying from the Mexican Border into the US.åÊ Many of these aerial chases ended in Colorado.
